Hakka dish: Mei Cai Kou Rou / 梅菜扣肉






I had been tinking of this dish since preggy.. ate it once @ granny place..
Decided its time to make my own... THis time decided to change to the belly pork which is the most original dish that hakka cooked.
I didn't used much seasoning caused i decided to cook more and its already very rich in flavour on its own... and keeping it means it will get richer in taste as the day passed...

Enjoying my Mei cai with congee today... WOW... i managed to eat 2 bowls of congee which i hardly felt like eating more then 1/2 a bowl nowsaday... always bloated even when i dun eat anything...super hard to resist it...
