We heart stew and this isn't the 1st time i am doing this dish. Will be bringing this dish over to granny place tml. And of course, to me.. stew tasted better on the next day so i pre-prepared this 1 day in advance so that we can have a nice stew for dinner.

I have to confess, i HATE onions... its not something that i will opt for if i am cooking for myself.. but amazingly, the flavour was wonderful, natural sweetness from it.
Haha you must be thinking, YOU burnt your onions!!!!
Mmm i learnt this from a tv food show that by doing this, it will give the soup based a very natural golden colour to replace using dark soya sauce. And i decided to give it a try, AND YES!!!! i fell in love with the method ever since i tried it.



As i mentioned earlier, i prefered a day 2 stew so i am living my stew aways and continue to simmer it the next day for better taste.
