Birthday part 2
I requested Mr sim to bring me to THE LINE which had been around for many years. Actually i love buffet cause i can have alots of choice @ the same time BUT being not a big eater... eating buffet is always on special occasion.
Mr sim usally goes for the sashimi and oyster while i goes for the dessert....Worth all the $$$ we spent here. With a 39% off for online booking. Isn't it a WOW WOW WOW... really save alots compare to some crappy buffet that served crappy foods and charges so much higher.. No offend to anyone... i prefer to pay for quality of foods.
Thank u Mr sim for bringing US there... :)

Tang Yuen review
Am crazy over tang yuen recently. Saw this flavour that attracts me.. TARO aka as YAM
Honestly alil disappointed.. the skin is slightly too thick and not soft enough. The taro is abit artifical. But good enough for a greedy day.

Product Review: CP 5 Spices Thai Style Chicken
Saw this BIG chicken in a black box by CP few weeks back... Curious by how it tasted like.. cause DEC is a season to have T u r ke y BUT Mr sim doesn't like it.. so i suggested WHY not we give this chicken a try...
Cost: SGD $15.90 from supermarket.
I decided to add on some potatoes, carrots & onions to bake it together....
DONE... the meat is still very tender despite it had been kept frozen.
In the end, we couldn't finish the whole thing and i decided to shred the extra meat out and kept it frozen for another day..
To complete the meal.. i added in some lettuces and make my own thai chilli sauce to go along with it..
Not too bad for a frozen proudct.
Very convient for lazy people like me..
Special Edition by Granny. Hakka A - Zi Pan
A - Zi Pan
Granny was saying, 这是我的家乡菜。。古老味
This is something she had since young in her hometown back in china... and she got married to Singapore after that.
She enjoyed making these for her kids and now her grandchildren and great grandkids..
Actually its a very easy to make but nowhere found in singapore. Rarely or dun even see people selling it.
The basic ingrdients are, dough made of gluntious rice. The fillings consist of turnips, yellow beancurd, Dry Cuttlefish, mushroom.
Wrapped with either dumpling leaf /banana leaf.
The skin will be slightly sticky with the salty filling.. its heavenly good!!!! Its something that even with $$$$.. you won't get to buy it when no one know how to make it nowsaday.
Its the 1st time Mr sim had this... he kind of like it. :( i cannot eat any this year due to my skin allergy. Mmmmm must tink of something.. lolz maybe Mrs sim's edition one day...
