Was tinking of this last week but its alrdy thur.. and i won't be cooking on fri as well as the weekend... so got to give up my crave..
Since its monday... i can use up the remaining cabbage on other days...

Yog ice cream
1st time trying out this brand. Hopefully it's not going to b a disappointment. Will update how it taste after we tried it.
Large size $4.80
Able to mix 2 flavors from their choice available.
verdict: The taste is too strong for my liking.. doesn't really have the fruit taste.. but Mr sim said it tasted ok.. the peach wasn't very appealing... ok.. no more next time.. we will sticked to our old fav. brand.

Baked Macaroni
This is one meal that i enjoyed alots ....
Decided to do a simple dinner..
i haven't done this for quite some times...
Macaroni baked with lots of cheese...
Being lazy i used ready done pasta sauce.. pan fried some mushroom and sauages.. boiled the macaroni ... mix with the sauce BAKED it...
Tada... a fast and simple dinner...

How to make ur spring onion curls up?
Are you as curious as me? I am always wondering how the rest. chef made the spring onions curl up when they served it? there must be a way to do it BUT HOW?
Was bored with the normal way SO.. i decided to try my luck...
I shred the spring onions into strips... you can use knife to do so or scissor but i find using hand faster and safer.. hehe if not, i will end up with plasta all over my poor fingers just for FUN.. -_-"
BUT how come it doesn't CURL!!!!!

Mmmm MAYBE.. i should do it the way like the chilli flower? Soak it in water...
NOT hot water ar... wait u get cooked spring onions..
I used ice water..... It made the spring onion curl up faster
Normal tempt water might work BUT maybe effect won't be so fast and good...
YEAP!!! proven right... it started to curl up more n more....the texture became crispy as well...
After 10 to 15min.... you will have curly spring onions...
Hahaha try it out if you have the time.

Hakka abacus seeds
This isn't the 1st time i intro this dish in my site.. Yeap mum made us some during CNY but i doesn't felt like cooking so i kept it in the freezer till now... seeing it sleeping in the freezer.. it doesn't made me feel good esp i haven't been cooking for a long time...
So decided its time to wake this sleeping beauty up...
I didn't do the very traditional ones.. i made it my own style which i prefer more... mum's version is more oily while mine is more "healthy" with less oil...
