The other time i tried making usin the chilli padi.. seriously it wasn't fantastic @ all..
This time.. i go back to the orignal using the normal ones..

food - Soon Kueh & Peng Kueh

I had been craving for soon kueh for a LONG LONG time but its hard to find vegetarian ones due to my allergy to dry shrimps which are a MUST to use in these 2 kueh...
Finally found one tat offered vegetarian styles...
Mmmmm well nothing can be compared to home made ones... but am just too lazy to make my own now...
The taste is ok... skin not too thick as well... not too salty..
Filling portion quite generous too.. will still go back for more if i haven't find any better ones.

Pasta

Eat alone.. I HATE this feeling of eating alone....

When Mr sim don't sms me @ 5.30 to 6pm... its OT time..

Esp now when he had a NEW workaholic boss

own self had NO LIFE and made ppl with no life too..

Simply HATE the though of eating alone...

Olso means double work.. i had to prepare my own share then prepare his when he is back...

Tonite dinner

A can of mushroom soup + some pasta

Nothing taste good when one is eating ALONE esp when its dinner time when one family should be sitting together to enjoy the moment together after a long day @ work.

Stir fried Yi Mian

we are leave with 2 piece of yi mian after our  Yi Mian dinner last week.. decided to use it up to prevent it to get the oily smell/taste.
Doesn't want the same thing so i decided to stir fry it.
Another simple easy dish for a lazy night.

 

 

Baked Sweet Potato

 

Did baked sweet potato over the weekend.. rarely see Japanese ones in the supermarket and this time.. its huge.. grabbed 3 pieces home and turn out one to be bad.. its really nice, sweet and mashy..

Yeap i had to confess i haven't been really cooking lately...
Decided to do a simple 1 dish meal today..
Was doing veg stew and tinking... i do not wish to cook more things
so decided to add in noodles... with mocked prawns
Look like claypot noodles... but i love yi mian more..
Yummy.. and affordable homemade meal..

Sweet Potato

Yeap i baked sweet potato AGAIN! this time using the sweet potatoes from aust. Honestly we still perfer the Japan Ones which are nicer in texture.. tis one is nice but we tink its more mean for swt potato soup.

Yang Chun Mian

 Instead of the soup version, i cooked dry Yang Chun Mian with my own homecooked mushroom minced meat. Topped with lots of veg.

Add on:
The brand of Yang Chuan Mian i used is a Hongkong brand called 寿桃牌. We hearted this brands alots.. from the mee sua to egg noodles etc
This is one of the trusted brand we will pick into our basket for payment.

Mushroom Miso Soup

Decided to have some miso soup with watever we had ... lots of fresh mushroom in it.. with some Japanese tang hoon, veg, meat, tou foo, yummy and simple...especially the weather is kind of cold today.

去度蜜月还帮我们买了凤梨酥。。
是坐飞机从台湾的淡水买回来的哦。。。
几年间。。 还没是沈夫人的我和们家的老爷第一次出国。。就是去了台湾。。
在淡水老街的这间老店尝试了，它们家的凤梨酥和Mochi.. 还买了回来当礼物送给家人和同事。。
还跟我们家的老爷说。。下次再去。。要买更多。。

等等等

都没再回去。。
这次。。老爷知道他的好朋友回去那度蜜月。。
就请他如果有去淡水。。 就帮我们买一盒凤梨酥回来。。。

以前有托人买过。。可是味道就是不一样。。。不是买错。。。就是找不要到。。
它的味道就是很好吃。。可以一个块有一块的吃下去
味道也很好。。不会太甜
牛油为很香，不过吃了不会觉得腻。。

开心死了。。。 好吃的凤梨。。。真的出现在我们的家了。。
真开心。。。
