Today we decided to pop by a new store in town
TOTTSTORE which is like another version of ikea BUT this place is more on household stuffs and baking stuffs instead of furniture... VERY COOL...
No photography allowed there... so maybe if u are able can check out their website... the price is VERY reasonable compare to some marked up store out there...
WISH and pray hard.. WILTON baking will come to sg and open such a shop as well den we can save more $$$ and pay reasonable price like those in the states...
Saw a bistro inside and decided to have our lunch there...
we ordered their set meal which comes in either chicken/fish + a soup + a soft drink cost $9.90 each.
There's no service charge in this bistro so we paid $21.20 with 7% GST.
REALLY REALLY amazingly.. i wasn't very impress with when saw it on the sign board and thought its just a normal creamy mushroom soup..
crispy crotons served in it as well...
U saw the spring onions? It enhanced it so well... 1st time i had western soup with spring onions esp mushroom soup...
Only disappointment is there's hardly any mushrooms bites in it... but for $2 a bowl as a set meal...
What else can u ask for?
I will try this again...
A pity i dun taste the lemongrass taste... not much.. juz a lil smell of it..
The coleslaw tasted not bad.. with pineapples and raisins added in.. but somehow it tasted too sweet for me due to the generous amt of raisins in it..
I LOVE the whipped potato the most... it had some chunky bites in it...
I tried the baked potato... YUMMY
I will tried to attempt it @ hm the next time.. with lil black pepper, some herbs n salt? it tasted nice...
The salmon was nicely done was well.. very soft and well cooked.. the texture of the fish is like will melt in the mouth.. HB love this..
