Normally i will deep fried it 1st but decided to be kind to myself... the weather is either very cozy or very HOT and i/we cannot afford to get sick with fried foods nowsaday...

It wasn't as smooth as i wanna it to be on the surface BUT it definatey tasted good on its own..

Changing of rice to brown rice... lolz.. u should have seen Mr sim's look  when i told him we r having BROWN RICE... i knew it.. he HATE it..
But he finished his share... maybe i will try HARDER next round..

I seldom cooked nowsaday coz cooking takes up too much time in washing, cleaning, and the cycle repeat... FINALLY managed to cook some stuffs.. there ARE too much STUFFS in the freezer/fridge tat need to be clear!!!!

Am so sick of days without proper bf/lunch ESP when Mr sim isn't ard
with a baby @ hm.. there is no way i can walk 15min to n back just to tabao..
SO finally am ordering tingkat for my lunch...
Hopefully it can make me a happy mummy again....

We have a welcome home party last sunday 09 10 11 for our lil princess...
After sourcing around.. decided to try out this catering called MANNA POT...
My mummies grp had a few ordering from them as well so i decided to try it out..... *chew* it was really NOT TOO BAD... very decent foods ...

Buffet from Mannapot

i ordered:

Yang Zhou Fried Rice( 50% ) requested them to do a 50/50 since we have 50 paxs... the fried rice was all served up...

 Mee Siam Goreng ( 50% )

Specially HEART this... NOT FOR non spicy food eater..
Love the texture of it.. it wasn't the normal kind of fried mee siam...
More like the indian way but it wasn't oily... wasn't too dry wasn't too wet...

(2) Luo Han Cai

The brocoli n Califlower wasn't overcooked which is very important...

(3) Curry Chicken

Am trying to control myself from eating n eating this... too good to be resist..
If only.. there is french loaf to dip in..

(4) Sweet n Sour Fish

I had ordered and eaten many sweet and sour fish from differ cater
but i have to say... AM IMPRESSED by their texture...
The cater are so generous in their slicing.. each slice are not paper thin ... while u can taste the fish texture and not too floury...

(5) Golden Manna Prawns

Aka as cereal prawns.. i didn tasted this coz of my allergies..
but seeing the portion gonez.... it should be good isn't it...

(6) Mini Chocolate Eclair

Too good to resist....

(7) Egg Tofu w/Peanut Sauce

Something tat not too many caterer will cater... they used egg tou foo to replace the usual tou foo to prevent it from turning sour..

(8) Ice Jelly w/Peach n Lychee

REFRESHING!!!

We happened to try their kueh sometimes ago and find it NICE
so decided to get some for the party and its so mini... just nice for some snacks in between...
They have 11 flavours.. YES 11 flavours... isn't it extremely marvellous for frickle minded ppl like me who can't decided which t chose...i can have all... :p
