 I made Pork Hor Fun last week
coz mum is with us doing my confinment
so i just made do with what is available in the fridge.

I omitted the egg for my share
coz i had a c sect and not supposed to have any "poison" foods for the 1st 2 weeks like eggs and chicken.

Missing In Action

Yes i haven't been posting recently coz i had a early delivery...
My lil princess was here to join us on 11th Jul 2011.

On the not so happy side, she is born premature on 31st week :(
A painful decision to bring her to join us so early ending up now she is to stay in NICU due to some complication that made this last min decision on the day itself.

There are so many concerns of

WHAT if
WHY like dat
Is it the only choice we are given!

THANK GOD ..... baby DESLYNN SIM our lil princess so far have been making good progress....

Happy side,
WE finally realised am having a princess on the delivery day itself
It indeed shown and prove what a daddy gal am having...

she is making progress everyday :)

I managed to carry her for the 1st time today after she made her 1st cries... it felt so differ from carrying ppl's baby and ur own..
she is just so tiny but so strong.. YES i have a Kung FU bunny who behave exactly like what she did to me when she is inside me..

Her kicks were so powerful till te nurses who are taking care of her mentioned she is so active...

Dear God

We are praying hard for your blessing to our pricess ...

Stir fried kai Lan

 Been a long time since i cooked this veg. Happened to see it today and decided to get a few stalk... cooked with some ingredients... hehe dat means i doesn't have to prepare alots of side dishes for dinner :p

Nothing special... its threadfin AGAIN
something dat my lil bunny enjoyed... everytime when i am eating fish
lil bunny will be happy dancing inside... instead of the usual violent kick n punch
the feeling is really differ...

Mr sim was on leave coz he accompany me for a check up... by the time things ended.. he was supposed to go back to wrk BUT its alrdy mid of the day and to go to wrk, he nid to travel 90min to get there SO he decided to change it to a full day leave...

Since he is home early.. i decided to make him something he enjoy...

 

 

After steaming... all the richness of the chicken
went into the rice... :)
It tasted so GOOD
if only, i have a claypot @ home...

Soup of the day

 I juz wanna a clear soup to go along with the rice
so decided to make something really simple
with just some ikan bilis stock and the silverfish dat i baked...
plus the veg...

Fried pork with ginger & spring onion with bee hoon

 I doesn't feel like having rice today SO i decided to eat bee hoon
If u noticed, there are 2 kind of bee hoon i used for a better texture :)
Added wit veg and fried pork with ginger & spring onion..
Mmmmm sound NEW? hehehe
I juz love it as much as eating it with rice..

I bought the lean meat and sliced it thinly..tender and juice is the word to describe it.
