K.L The Apartment @ KLCC

Kelly, Mr Sim's cousin recommended us to this place. Seeing the photos she taken, haha i am so tempted by the foods and ambience there. She went over @ night while we went in the noon for lunch. It was really cozy over there. Its a 2 level Restaurant where Level one is more to the cafe style while @ level 2 where we went up is more homely style..

What i enjoy is they don't use MSG in their foods and the ingredients they used are so fresh and they are not stingy on the portion too.

You can visit there site for more info

Location:

The Apartment
Lot G48 & 139
Ground Floor & First Floor
Suria KLCC, 50088

Going around while waiting for foods to be serve...
It's MAKAN TIME....
Passion Fruit Cooler RM 10.50
A lil fizzy but i find the taste of passion fruit not define enough to justify its name...

Lemonade RM 10.90
If you enjoy sour version of lemonade, you will enjoy this like i do... Mango Duck Salad RM 19.90

This salad is so fusion style.. I don't usually enjoy duck unless its really very well done that doesn't have the weird ducky taste/smell. Its so thai style.. the mango which is slighly sour & sweet enhanced the duck meat so well. With the strippy of spring onions, lemon grass, ginger, lime leaves and the dressing
I couldn't help myself to have 1 after another portion after the 1st mouth...The Apartment Soup RM 10.90
Very light soup that mama will cooked in the house.. felt so homely after drinking this soup.. with the mushroom, chicken and stuffs in it... Mr sim said its nice.. we should go home and cook something like this..Fish & Chips RM 21.90
For friends whom know me well enough, i will always order fish & Chips whenever i dine out.. Prehaps its so me.. i enjoyed deep fried fish & chips with nice batter which i seldom do @ home.
The whole slice of fish were cutted into 3 portions, isn't it a sweet thought.. i do enjoy such thought especially i can just use my fork and eat it directly.. with a lil of their homemade tar tar sauce
The portion of fries were so generous and its crispy on the outside... warm & mashy when in the mouth.. Mr Sim had to help me to finish up the fries... He love fries/potatoes... Cod Aioli RM 48.90
Oven Baked fillet of cod served with mashed potatoes & snow pea & spices
Its nicely done, not over baked where you can still taste the freshness of the fish. The skin of the fish was so well baked making it slighly crispy and i do enjoy it. Yeap am not a fan of such collagen on usual day be it on seafood or polutry or red meat but Mr sim ensure me that i will like it when i gave him that ! face when he asked me to try the skin. Opps... everythings were so nice.. we really finished everythings... and we are so SO SO full but i doesn't want to miss the dessert which i had been eyeing on...Caramel Banana Crepe RM 9.90
Before coming here, i saw the chef @ the hotel doing this.. not this version but similar cost 2.5x the price.. well if its really tempting enough.. i will pay for it BUT it simple turn me down.. i wasn't looking forwards to try it @ all...
BUT while i am looking at the menu... i told MR sim.. I wan crepe after lunch.. haha
I am so full that i am so worry my button will fly out but i am so glad i ordered it.. its so worth the $$$ and taste exellent for a dessert..
Banana was not overly cooked and matching with the walnut... and the softness of the crepe.. which is not too thick but not too thin to torn it immediately... the lovely golden brown colour on it..and the caramel which had a hint of cinnamon taste in it.. not too sweet.. slightly sour...
Haha i cleared the whole plate after Mr sim taken some portion.. Oppz..

Total we spent for 2 pax:
RM 152.80 with 10% service charge & 5% Gov tax.
