Steam fish

 

Preparing to be steam... i added lots of fresh mushrooms in it

 
After steaming.. i used my own sauce for its gravy...





I love the gravy with my congee and see how firm the fish meat is... it tasted had a chicken texture...
if u are wondering what fresh fish am i toking abt?
read on... Mr sim went on a fishing trip recently and they caught 2 groupers that weigh 12 & 16kg...
*scary*



The collagen from the fish.. thick thick skin below is how thick the FAT is.. it look juz like a piece of flesh



If you are wondering HOW big the fish is.. HERE the pic.. the guy isn't MR sim ok.. he is the boatman who brought them out for the trip and the piece of fish we had for dinner is from this 12kg grouper here...
You must be asking won't the meat be tough for such huge fish?
Ans: according to them.. as long as the fish had green eyes... the flesh no matter how huge will still be very tender..
Amazing is it...
